Cayucos Garden Club Projects 2008-2010

Old Creek Road Triangle Beautification
Members weed, clean-up, provide plants, plant and water the county owned triangle planter
at Old Creek Road and Ocean Avenue. The club is pursuing, through the county, a water
hook-up to assist with upkeep of this area. Chairperson: Betty Hall

Holiday Baskets
Donations are made toward the purchase of food items and gifts given as a charitable
holiday baskets to families in need through our local Cayucos Elementary School.
Chairperson: Betsy Watts 100% Member Participation

Scholarship
Three $500.00 scholarships are presented to Coast Union High School graduating seniors,
residing in Cayucos, and enrolled in college, to assist with college costs.

Spring Plant Sale
To fund scholarships plants are sold at the club's annual plant sale. Cayucos Club members
grow plants and donate time to sell during the sale. Additional plant donations are received
